The latest Vista version now supports DVD images for Daemon Tools users, new Vista Blue theme, viewing back movie cover and better mouse support. There is also a lite version available for Windows Media Center XP users. Xbox 360 users can now play videos in DVR-MS format. This new MCE version is now integrated into Movie Collector. You no longer have to export to an XML file anytime you make a change to your collection. Remind Me for MCE does just what the name says. We all now how fast time goes by when watching a movie or listening to music which can cause us to forget to do things. Now you can create reminders in Media Center that will alert you at the time you choose. Of course Remind Me is done in MCML and for the first time I decided to stick with the Vista theme. Reminders can be entered by desktop keyboard or with the remote control using triple tap. You can also view and delete reminders already created. Again this is a MCML program and you must have one of the following operating systems, Microsoft Windows Vista Premium or Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate. Now you can get driving directions in your Windows Media Center with my new program My Mapquest for MCE. Everything can be done with the remote just enter your FROM point then TO point and click the Get Directions button. The next screen will show the route, time and distance. You can now scroll each route and as you scroll it will also show the map of the current highlighted route. Find out the location of your packages with My Tracker for MCE. My Tracker will give you detail information about packages shipped by UPS or FEDEX on your Windows Media Center computer. This program is very simple to use, just enter your UPS or FEDEX tracking number and click the track button to see your package current status, history and scheduled deliver date. Please keep in mind when you track by FEDEX you must choose the express or ground button before tracking.
